“The Blacksmith” Elements of earth from which we were created to be, tried in the furnace— a final work incomplete. And though the Smith`s hands are calloused and rough, His touch is gentle like butterflies and doves. And the strength that He has can cause iron to bend, melt hardened hearts, turn enemies to friends. See, the trials He brings are not such bad things, Nay, they cause us to grow (if it weren `t He`d say so !) Thus, though your life may be bitter remember the Lord is no quitter ! for what He started in you He will see through. And though the enemy growls like a ravenous canine and intimidates you, remember, All WILL BE FINE! For the war has been won, yet, we must continue to fight— it`s onward in Christ with all of HIS might. So, when ominous clouds seem to block out the Son, simply stand firm, there`s no need to run. For our Redeemer, He lives as the sun still does shine, He will save His own people in the very nick of time. A.B.Adams November 3, 2020 Tuesday
“Tempered thru Temptation” Temptations come as the rivers flow to strengthen us, help us grow. And of that lion on the prowl, he`s limited to what God allows. Now know this temptation you must endure cuz it's not uncommon that`s for sure. But give in, give in- you`ll lose some ground; stand firm, resist- you`ll reap a crown ! So, my friend know this too, that when you`re tempted He`ll succour you. For He`s close by without a doubt, to Abba cry for the way out. But if you fall mark my words, “to repent in the moment, is not absurd !” Abide in Him, his words in you then you`ll find, this to be true. A.B.Adams November 12, 2020 Thursday “West of Eden” Bird song at the break of dawn, lilies fair, vanilla air, open skies, butterflies, tender leaves, harvesting sheaves, warmth of sun and peacefulness, a gentle breeze doth caress. Yet, a fruit tree, I doth see in a garden next to me. At first glance, it appears to be of a more delectable variety. But, look again, you see my friend, indeed that garden has no fence to nature`s God, a big offense; for many partake of its fruit and if you look closely at the roots— you will see disloyalty, unfaithfulness and harlotry. So, though the grass seems greener there, in my garden the weather`s fair with proper borders, no fruit to share. So, though tempted, I resist, grit my teeth, clench my fist, and remain where I should be, in the garden made just for me. A.B.Adams April 19th, 2019 Friday
