I stepped out of the boat upon that stormy sea in good courage and good faith I made my way to Thee.
I stepped into the promised land and saw with my own eyes giants towering over me and great cities that were fortified.
Like those of old I believed but at times doubt did creep in just like the, Baptist John who struggled before the end.
It is not offensive unbelief that laughs and demands a sign but rather a sincere wondering of just how His promise will be mine.
For Sara laughed at the prospect and Zacharias asked to prove the word while Mary bowed her head and said, “Behold, the handmaiden of the Lord.”
And so I know the Lord is true His word like silver seven times refined, Yet, at certain times I desperately need His rough but gentle hand on mine.
Or His right hand on my head stroking every hair: these tender signs to remind that surely He does care.
Oh, how I love Him and seek to show that my words indeed are true ! That on that day He`ll smile and say, “Good job. I was right to trust in you !”

“Catch Me B`cuz You Can”
Those thoughts in your head
don`t let them take root;
like an unwanted solicitor
just give them the boot !
And the moment you feel
yourself on the brink,
when you`re no longer walking
but beginning to sink:
Reach for His hand
and call out His name
for straightaway He`ll catch you
and help you regain...
...your balance on water;
your courage to fight;
your vision to see
if even by only moonlight.
So, look not at the waves
that thrash at your feet
or the tempest that taunts
that makes you weak in your knees.
Just keep your eyes on your goal,
that is, your Heavenly Friend
for its all just a test
that one day, will come to an end.
