“All I Am Saying Is:”

Even in
His agony,
He thought of you
and He thought of me.

To the thief on His left
and the thief on His right—
only one of whom—
would see paradise;

He offered forgiveness
and mercy,
as He still does
to you and to me.

Consider His claims;
consider His acts;
consider His life:
fiction or fact ?

The evidence
throughout the ages,
is written on hearts
not merely pages:

Lives transformed;
men reborn;
women redeemed
who had been scorned.

Just GIVE HIM A CHANCE—
He`s standing by—
at the door of your heart,
He`ll hear your cry !

Just call His name
in sincerity;
pour out your heart,
honestly.


For Jesus of Nazareth—
a carpenter`s son—
suffered and died
for everyone !
