“Thanksgivin`” (to the cadence of Gilligan`s Island)
Just sit right back and I`ll tell a tale, a tale of a fateful trip that began at the sea of Galilee aboard a tiny ship; aboard a tiny ship...
Now the Good Lord with His motley crew got into a boat; and while on their way, the boat did sway yea, it almost ceased to float; yea, it almost ceased to float...
And, the wind did howl and the waters rise and the tiny boat was tossed; if not for the courage of the Fearless One all would be lost; all would be lost...
But, the wind did calm and the waves subside at the voice of the Fearless One; and the ship set shore on the other side to rescue one lost son; to rescue one lost son...
A man was he, among the tombs much like the walking dead; he cursed and foamed and he cut you see so that he often bled; so that he often bled...
But, Jesus came for a man like him, a solitary one; who is possessed and indeed helpless a lost and lonely son; a lost and lonely son...
And so you see Jesus set Him free from a living death; not by might nor power did He but by the Spirit`s breath; but by the Spirit`s breath...
Now the Good News is what He`s done for one He`ll do for any son; or daughter, too, like me and you if only to Him we`ll run; if only to Him we`ll run.
So, don`t stay where, no one cares in the land without no sun; For the Father watches and He waits for that one returning one; for that one returning one.
And, yes it`s true He will run to you and greet with warm embrace and shower you, like morning dew wi` tears and kisses on your face; wi` tears and kisses on your face.
Then, He`ll clothe you in, a righteous robe of pure snow white linen and of that day, you`ll always say, “It was just like Thanksgivin`; it was just like Thanksgivin`.”

“King Kong”
I just can`t shake this monkey that is riding on my back; feels like an endless hurdle race on a million mile track.
Each time I try and leap I end up on my face but then again I slowly rise and get back in the race.
I remember, He too, was tempted in the ways of every man but He never stumbled, tripped or fell— He stood and forever stands !
So, that is to say, He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust; whether it be, gluttony, pride or even lust.
And, in the book of Hebrews— The Hall of Fame of faith— some were tempted and some were killed that`s what the Good Book saith.
So, though you find yourself in that same place once again, remember He won`t forsake you for He`s your helper and your friend.
Remember, too, a righteous man is not one who never sins but rather one who falls seven times and rises up again !
